Indications
NewGel+ is a self-adhesive, flexible, semi-occlusive sheeting made from medical-grade hypoallergenic silicone material used for the management of scars. Silicone Sheeting has been clinically proven to significantly improve the appearance of scars by helping to flatten and fade the scar.
Directions
Remove NewGel+ from the package. If needed, cut the NewGel+ to a correct size so that the NewGel+ extends beyond the area to be treated. Peel off the release liner and apply NewGel+ "adhesive side" down, directly on the scarred area. Wash and dry the scarred area every time you apply NewGel+. Although NewGel+ is a self-adhesive product, if needed you can secure it using medical grade tape or any other preferred method. Do not hold NewGel+ too tightly to the treated area as this may cause skin irritation. Your NewGel+ should be worn everyday for a minimum of 6 hours per day. For best results it can be used continuously. Improvement may be seen within 3-4 weeks. Full benefit may be reached in 3-6 months. NewGel+ can be washed and dried before reapplication. NewGel+ should be replaced if it begins to deteriorate, disintegrate, or will not stick. Keep the unused NewGel+ in its container.
