Do not take both medications within 6 hours of each other. Each dose of the daytime medicine for adults provides cough relief while relieving chest congestion and thinning and loosening mucus for hours. The multi symptom nighttime liquid cough medicine puts coughs to bed with active ingredient dextromethorphan to help control the urge to cough. Delivering cough relief for more than 70 years, Robitussin has the product you need to provide cough, cold, flu, sore throat relief and sinus relief for day and night. Robitussin shuts coughs down.

Stop use and ask a doctor if cough lasts more than 7 days, comes back, or is accompanied by fever, rash, or persistent headache. These could be signs of a serious condition. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
