With the pill cutter on a firm flat surface push the button to open the cutter and carefully place the pill as required between the guidelines. 2. Steadily bring the blade section fully down to cut pill 3. If needed. store the pills and split pills in the compartments. 4. Keep fingers away from the blade at all times. 5. Retrieve the cut sections by opening the unit. 6. Wash entire unit first before use and subsequently as required. with warm soapy water. Rinse well and dry with soft cloth. 7. Do not boil. steam sterilize or place in a microwave.
