- COLD PRESSED, NEVER REFINED: Pressed slowly at low temperature in wooden and steel expellers, then only filtered — no solvent extraction, no bleaching, no deodorising. The oil keeps its natural colour, nutty aroma and the compounds that refining strips out.

Select a product to estimate shipping.Flaxseed oil, or alsi ka tel, is one of the few plant oils that delivers meaningful alpha-linolenic acid — the omega-3 fatty acid most Indian diets fall short on.
It is also one of the easiest oils to ruin. Commercial flaxseed oil is often solvent-extracted at high heat and then refined, bleached and deodorised, which produces a pale, odourless oil with very little of what makes flaxseed worth pressing in the first place.
We press cold and stop there. The seed goes into the expeller at low temperature, the oil is filtered, and nothing else is done to it. That is why our oil is deeper in colour, distinctly nutty in smell, and why the taste is stronger than refined oil you may have used before.
How to use: 1 to 2 teaspoons a day, taken cold. Add to salad dressings, curd, smoothies, or drizzle over food after it has come off the heat. Never use it for cooking, frying or tempering.
Storage: Keep the bottle closed, away from sunlight, and refrigerate once opened. Flaxseed oil is more delicate than other oils and will turn bitter if left warm or open.
